Yesterday, Feral Fixers brought in 17 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. All 17 of them were Friendly Ferals - much too cold out now to be trapping ferals...

There were supposed to be 18 cats going in, but at the last moment, one of them got the sniffles, so rather than sending it in and having it probably rejected for surgery, Tammy elected to keep the cat.

Super-volunteer Charli picked up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and brought them to PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while I picked them up from PAWS in the evening and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution. And, once again, super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's, helping out with everything that needed doing (Thanks Judy!).

Of the 17 cats brought in, three were rejected for surgery for various reasons. This means that we had 14 cats fixed on this day.

This brings our December total to 22 and our yearly total to 1,231 - the exact same amount we did in 2012. With several more days left in December, I'm sure we'll be, once again, setting a new yearly record. Overall, Feral Fixers has now had 5,964 cats fixed.
