Yesterday, March 21st, Feral Fixers brought 28 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed.

26 of these cats were ferals with the remaining two being 'friendly' ferals. And, the total load consisted of 14 males and 14 females - talk about balance!

Super-volunteer Charli helped me pick up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and bring them to PAWS (Thanks Charli!) while super-volunteers Rita, Judy and (the other) Judy picked the cats up from PAWS in the afternoon and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery. Thanks Rita! Thanks Judy! Thanks Judy!

And, in addition to helping pick up the cats in the afternoon from PAWS, Judy was at Tammy's in the morning and evening, helping out with all of the tasks necessary to do these industrial-sized transports. Thanks (again) Judy!

We're back in full operational mode now; 32 cats last week, 28 cats this week and I'm sure big loads every week from now on until the end of the season. With these 28 cats, Feral Fixers has now processed 78 cats for March, 133 cats for the year and 4,869 cats overall since we began operations in September of 2007.
