Yes, yes, we're still 'officially' on break, but sometimes situations come up...

This past Thursday, super-volunteer Judy drove in 9 cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed (thanks Judy!). Eight of them were ferals while the other was a 'friendly feral". Super-volunteers Judy & Rita picked them up from PAWS and brought them back to Tammy's for recovery (Thanks Judy! Thanks Rita!). Notes from Tammy on this trip:

Three females that go in and out of a garage were included. We had done so many cats in the area, new males were hanging around from the other colonies that we had not neutered yet, so these females were a very high priority.

Also, holdovers from the previous week, due to illness, etc.

We may be having the mildest winter in 80 years but who knew? And it could all go into the below zeros in a matter of days.

And yesterday, Super-Bowl Sunday (stupid cats - not giving a darn about the Super Bowl!), we brought in two more cats to PAWS. Super-volunteer Jennifer brought them in to PAWS while Tammy picked them up and brought them back to her house for recovery (Thanks Jennifer! Thanks Tammy!). One of them was a feral while the other was a friendly feral.

With these first 11 cats of February, Feral Fixers has now processed 25 cats for the year and 3,530 overall.
