Earlier today, Feral Fixers brought in 21 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be processed.
11 of these cats were 'friendly ferals' while the other 10 were true ferals. Our president Tammy and I drove them in to PAWS this morning and then picked them up from PAWS this evening to bring them back to Tammy's for recovery. Super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's this morning to help get them ready and was again there this evening to help with the recovery - Thanks Judy!
Two of the friendlies were found to be too sick to have surgery, so out of the 21 cats brought in, 19 were spay/neutered.
This brings us to a total of 73 cats fixed for the month, 431 fixed so far this year and 2,912 overall (starting to get within site of the 3,000 cat milestone).
