Today, Feral Fixers brought in 17 more cats to the PAWS-Chicago Spay/Neuter clinic to be fixed. 16 of these cats were ferals while the remaining one was a 'friendly feral'.

I did both trips solo again today - picking up the cats from Tammy's in the morning and bringing them to PAWS and then picking up the cats from PAWS in the late afternoon and bringing them back to Tammy's for recovery and distribution. Super-volunteer Judy was at Tammy's this morning, helping to get the cats ready and helping me load my car (Thanks Judy!).

All 17 of these cats received surgery today, no one was too sick, no one had been fixed before, so a very efficient use of the days trip. Nine of these cats were female while the other eight were males, so nearly a 50-50 split again.

With these 17 cats, Feral Fixers has now processed 52 cats for May, 300 for the year and 6,276 overall.
