"Scotch" with his cardboard collar

No matter how hard we try, there are always more cats. This is our "down" time but on January 31st I was at an event and learned of a large colony that was already having kittens. They had super-insulated shelters and great caretakers. Reported to be 24 adults, the consequences of NOT working on them was greater than the stress of not getting that "down" time. Could have had an explosion of kittens! Scotch, the cat with the cardboard tape roll around his neck came from this location. We were able to trap a total of 15 from this spot and put together a few more that had been waiting for a trip. With the three different trips to ADOPT, 2/14, 2/15 and 2/19, we neutered a total of 25 cats - 17 ferals and 8 friendlies, 14 females and 11 males. This brings us to 25 for the month, 30 for the year and 10,347 since our beginning. Many thanks to Charli, Debbie, Linda & Mark for transporting.

We're still watching the weather forecast and will let you know when we can go full tilt again. In the meantime, please support us with our three "Fund Our Ferals Future" fundraisers - Giving Grid, Chipotle on March 6th and Five Below from 3/4 to 3/10 - maybe we could TNR later and earlier in the year if we had a building!!!
