10,000 Cats!

Ten Thousand Cats!

Let me say it one more time - TEN THOUSAND CATS!

That's how many cats Feral Fixers has had spay/neutered in its 10 years of existence and it's a big number by anybody's standards. Under the leadership of Tammy McAuley, assisted by a whole host of able volunteers (too many to list here), many, many financial supporters and all of our partners, Feral Fixers has contributed significantly to the huge reduction in the number of cats that DuPage County Animal Care & Control has had to deal with and is the major reason why they have not had to euthanize a healthy cat for space considerations in many years now. We've also helped Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) become mainstream in DuPage County and have been part of the rising tide of worldwide recognition of the worth of feral cats.

I'm sure that Tammy will have more to say about this milestone in the near future, but in the meantime, let's say it one more time;

TEN THOUSAND CATS!

PS - don't forget to mark you calendars for October 15th - our 10K-1K (10,000 spay neuters, 1,000 Adoptions) Ten Year Anniversary event - details to be published very soon!
